This easy steak burrito recipe is full of flavour and perfect for a quick, satisfying meal. Strips of spiced steak in a warm tortilla with fresh salsa, guacamole, and vegetables. It’s a simple way to enjoy a delicious, homemade burrito any day of the week.

Summer Burritos

Ingredients

4x 12 inch Tortilla wraps

500g Rump or frying steak

10g Piri piri spice

3x Crushed garlic cloves

50ml Olive oil

200g Chunky tomato salsa

200g Guacamole

200g Sweetcorn

100g Sliced red onion

40g Spinach leaves

60g Jalapenos

The method

1. Slice the steak into thin strips, add piri piri seasoning, oil, garlic and mix. Allow the steak to marinade for 4 hours.

2. Add the sweetcorn to the salsa and mix together.

3. To assemble the dish, fry the steak in hot oil and heat up the tortillas. Divide the beef into the wraps and top with the salsa, guacamole, jalapenos, red onions and spinach. Fold in the opposite edges of each tortilla and roll them up to make burritos.

4. Enjoy!
