BBQ Pork Ribs with Aussie Slaw
Want the secret to tender, flavourful BBQ ribs? This is it! We keep it simple by slow-cooking the ribs until they're super soft, then brushing them with your favourite BBQ sauce for a sticky, delicious glaze. Served alongside a fresh Aussie Slaw, this recipe makes gorgeous, satisfying ribs easy enough for any night of the week.

Recipe serves: 4
Ingredients
8x Meaty pork ribs
1 Litre of chicken stock
30g Crushed garlic
30g Crushed ginger
100g Smoked hickory BBQ Sauce
Slaw Ingredients
150g Shredded white cabbage
150g Shredded red cabbage
100g Sliced red onion
65g Diced tomato
65g Diced cucumber
2x Shredded spring onion
150g Mayonnaise
The method
1. Add the ginger and garlic to the ribs and rub them in. Allow to marinate for a minimum of 4 hours. Then place the ribs in a baking tray, pour over the stock and cover with foil and cook in the oven at 170 degrees Celsius for approximately 1 ½ hours. Drain off the stock and set aside.
2. To make the slaw, add all the ingredients together and mix.
3. To assemble the dish, coat the ribs with BBQ sauce, then put them back in the oven for 7 minutes at 170 degrees Celsius and serve with Aussie Slaw.
