Asian Style Beef
For a fresh and flavour-packed dinner, you can't go wrong with this Asian Style Beef dish. Tender, juicy steak gets marinated in a delicious Thai paste, then quickly seared and served over a crisp salad with a zesty dressing. It’s a simple dish that’s big on taste, and perfect for when you want a meal that feels special without a lot of fuss.

Ingredients
4x 150g Ribeye or rump steak
25g Thai red curry paste
5ml Olive Oil
Ingredients for salad
100g Spinach leaf
100g Rocket leaf
200g Gem lettuce
100g Sliced spring onion
50g Beansprouts
50g Sliced red peppers
Ingredients for Dressing
15ml Soy sauce
15ml Lime juice
15ml Sesame oil
10ml Vinegar
5g Cane Sugar
Ingredients for Garnish
5g Shredded red chillis
5g Chopped coriander
5g Sesame seeds
The method
1. Put olive oil and Thai paste onto the steaks and rub in (allow to marinate for a minimum of 6 hours).
2. To make the salad, add all the ingredients together and gently mix. To make the dressing, add all the ingredients together and stir.
3. To assemble the dish, in a hot frying pan or chargrill, fry the steak until medium/rare and allow to rest for 2 minutes. Place the salad into the bowl and thinly slice the steak and place it on top of the salad. Drizzle with the sauce and garnish with chillis, coriander and sesame seeds.
4. Enjoy!
